Master alloy for red gold 9, 10, 14 and 18K. The formulation of SF 302 R is suitable for casting in open and closed systems. The combination of deoxidizers and grain refining elements of this alloy allows the gold to copy the finest parts of the pattern and to obtain a bright tree. The colour obtained with SF 302 R is known as Russian red. The hardness of gold produced with SF 302 R can be increased with heat treatment only in 14 and 18K.
